Imhang.in operates the website Imhang.in. It is Imhang.in’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our website.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Imhang.in collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to Imhang.in’s websites choose to interact with Imhang.in in ways that require Imhang.in to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Imhang.in gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who create a hangout to provide the time and the location of the event they make – in some cases, they may provide the date and a brief description of the event as well. In order to use certain features of the Imhang.in website, we require that you provide us with some basic personal information such as your user name, and password for the Twitter.com website (hereafter referred to as "Twittter"). We need your Twitter username and password because Twitter requires that we authenticate your Twitter credentials in order to send and receive information to Twitter on your behalf. If you give us your Twitter username and password, we can and do access the information in your Twitter account as allowed according to the Twitter API. We do this in order to provide additional functionality for the Imhang.in service. This information may include Twitter messages you have sent, Twitter messages posted by people you’re following, your direct messages, and public profile information (e.g., name, username, full name, time zone, URL information, one-line bio, location, language, photo). Whether you are just creating an event or sharing it with your friends on Twitter, Imhang.in collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Imhang.in. Imhang.in does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics

Imhang.in may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Imhang.in may monitor the most popular events on the Imhang.in site, or use location data to determine the cities with the most events. Imhang.in may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Imhang.in does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Imhang.in discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, and contractors that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Imhang.in’s behalf or to provide services available at Imhang.in’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. What's Imhang.in? Imhang.in is the free simple tool that makes it easy for you to create a hang (a "hang" is what we call an event or meet up you create) that you can broadcast to your Twitter.com friends if your choose. Anyone who likes sharing a cup of coffee with a friend, organizing a group event, hosting a meet up, or telling their friends what they are up to is welcome on Imhang.in. All you need to do is agree to the below Terms of Service.

Acceptance of Terms.

The following terms and conditions govern all use of the http://imhang.in/ website (the Site) and the services available at or through the Site, including, but not limited to, the Imhang.in event creation service, (the Service). The Service is owned and operated by Imhang.in. The Service is offered subject to your acceptance without modification of all of the terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site by Imhang.in (collectively, the Terms of Use).

The Rules

Here are the big picture rules. Please remember that Imhang.in reserves the right to deny you service if we suspect that you're spamming, sharing illegal content, abusing or maligning another individual, or any other activities that don't fit the spirit of the site. By following the below rules, we're betting you'll be just fine.

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, links, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, and links (“Content”) that you submit, post and display on your hang or via the Service.
You cannot Spam. You cannot modify, adapt or hack the Imhang.in website, your own hangs or anyone else's hangs. You also cannot use your Imhang.in hangs or our platform to spam or attack others online, on the site or off. This includes such behaviour as automatically redirecting traffic from your hangs to other pages, introducing viruses to the site, spamming bloggers, email spam to Imhang.in users or others, and more.
You must not abuse, harass, threaten, malign, flame or intimidate other Imhang.in users, staff, others who use the Service, bloggers or others online. Nor may you upload, post or otherwise include any Content that is defamatory, libelous, tortuous, vulgar, obscene, invasive of privacy, racially or ethnically objectionable, hateful, promotes or provides instructional information about illegal activities, or promotes any act of cruelty to animals.
You must not impersonate another Imhang.in user or any official of Imhang.in. If you trick someone into thinking you're something you're not, we'll block your IP address.
You cannot create hangs or use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or to promote or make solicitations for any illegal or unauthorized activity.
You cannot use the Service to distribute, share or solicit Content belonging to third parties without proper authorization from the owner(s) of that Content. You must respect the proprietary and intellectual property rights of others (including trademark, copyright and trade secrecy) in creating your hang. Imhang.in is a fair harbor platform and can't endorse the content on our pages; if you have an issue with another user's content, please contact that individual directly first. Failing that, please send us a note, and we may be able to review or remove the hang in question.
You must not, in the use of Imhang.in, violate any Federal, state or local laws. If you are creating a hang outside of the United States, you must comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content
You cannot interfere with or disrupt the Service, or any servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service.
You cannot collect or store personal data about other users, except that you may encourage surfers to contact you and you may, in return, contact them back.
You will not use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Service for any purpose without Imhang.in's express written permission.

Imhang.in may remove any Content at any time for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such Content), or for no reason at all. Imhang.in may, at its sole discretion, immediately terminate your access to the Service should your conduct fail to conform strictly and terms or conditions of these Terms of Use, including with any provision of this section.

Termination.

Imhang.in may terminate your access to all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate these Terms of Use, you may simply discontinue using the Service. All provisions of the Terms of Use which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Imhang.in, its affiliates and their employees, contractors, officers, directors and representatives from all liabilities, claims, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your (i) use or misuse of the Service; (ii) your access to the Site, use of the Services,violation of the Terms of Use by you; or, (iii) the infringement by you, or any third party using your account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity. Imhang.in reserves the right, at it own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will assist and cooperate with Imhang.in in asserting any available defenses.

International/Non-California Use.

Imhang.in makes no representation that the Content is appropriate or available for use in locations outside of California, and accessing the Service is prohibited from territories where such Content is illegal. If you access the Service from other locations, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

Dispute Resolution.

If at any point, you feel as though you have a dispute with Imhang.in, you agree to abide by our dispute resolution principles.

2. If that doesn't work, you agree to contact@imhang.in, outlining your problem.

3. If that doesn't work, you agree to send us a letter, by registered mail,to 2454 Bryant St., San Francisco, CA 94110.

4. If, after two weeks, you haven't found a satisfactory resolution, you agree to submit to binding arbitration, to be conducted by a member of the American Arbitration Association, in California, at your expense. If you win, we will pay the arbitration expenses and your reasonable attorney's fees. If we win, you agree to do the same for us.

5. By accepting these terms, you waive your right to go to court and you explicitly waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

Integration and Severability.

These Terms of Use are the entire agreement between you and Imhang.in with respect to the Service and use of this Site, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals (whether oral, written or electronic) between you and Imhang.in with respect to this Site. If any provision of the Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the Terms of Use will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

Miscellaneous.

These Terms of Use and the Service contemplated hereunder are personal to you, and are not assignable, transferable or sublicensable by you except with Imhang.in's prior written consent. Imhang.in may assign, transfer or delegate any of its rights and obligations hereunder without consent. All waivers and modifications must be in a writing signed by both parties, except as otherwise provided herein. No agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship is created as a result of these Terms of Use and neither party has any authority of any kind to bind the other in any respect. In any action or proceeding to enforce rights under these Terms of Use, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover costs and attorneys' fees. All notices under these Terms of Use will be in writing and will be deemed to have been duly given when received, if personally delivered or sent by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested; when receipt is electronically confirmed, if transmitted by facsimile or e-mail; or the day after it is sent, if sent for next day delivery by recognized overnight delivery service.

Copyright Notice.

Imhang.in is one of many ways you can post events online, and if you find any of these conditions unacceptable, we will totally understand (though our feelings will be hurt) if you choose to use a different service.
